Rashel Zywica, Attorney
With years of experience managing complex financial arrangements in divorce litigation, Rashel Zywica understands how to protect clients’ interests in high-net-worth divorce situations. Rashel excels at developing strategies to succeed at all stages of divorce and family law litigation. While recognizing the pain and intense emotion that accompany the divorce process, Rashel refuses to be drawn into wasteful courtroom conflict, focusing instead on achieving the best outcomes for her clients in every aspect of the divorce settlement.
In addition to her zealous and skillful advocacy on behalf of clients, Rashel is also committed to educating her clients so they become empowered to make the best choices for the future. She is never too busy to answer questions. While she takes great satisfaction in gaining clients’ objectives through negotiation or litigation, the aspect of family law that she enjoys most is the opportunity to interact with clients and guide them through a difficult time in their lives to reach a brighter future.
Prior to joining the team at Nolletti Law Group, PLLC, Rashel practiced matrimonial law focused on high-conflict situations with complicated financial issues, navigating the challenges with rare finesse. In addition to having experience achieving clients’ goals at the trial court level, she has also exercised her legal skills helping clients succeed at the very different appellate level of practice.
A firm believer in the benefits of community service, Rashel has served as an advocate on behalf of underserved members of the population through the Sanctuary for Families' Uncontested Divorce Project, the Courtroom Advocates Project, and Divorce Mediation Clinic hosted by the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
Rashel earned her B.A. in English Communications from Yeshiva University Stern College for Women in New York City. During her undergraduate career her extensive studies in psychology and service with the Social Justice Society and New York Cares helped her develop an understanding of interpersonal relations that enables her to facilitate mutually beneficial solutions in many divorce situations. While earning her
J.D. from the Cardozo School of Law, she served as President of the Family Law Club and honed her negotiation skills in competitions sponsored by the American Bar Association.
Admitted to the State Bar of New York, Rashel is an active member of the New York State Bar Association, the New York City Bar Association, and the New York Women’s Bar Association. She currently practices in the areas of Matrimonial & Family Law, Child Custody & Support, Child Legal & Physical Custody, Divorce Litigation & Mediation, and Domestic Violence.
