Nussair P. Habboush, Attorney

The team at Nolletti Law Group, PLLC is pleased to welcome distinguished advocate and skilled litigator Nussair P. Habboush to our team of experienced divorce attorneys. Equally comfortable trying cases before the bench or a jury, Nussair was one of the first attorneys to develop and present arguments on LGBTQIA+ child custody rights before the New York Appellate Division-Second Department. His creativity, wit, and personable nature—as well as his prowess in litigation—set him apart early on in his career and earned him a place on the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list for the past seven consecutive years.

Nussair finds great satisfaction in putting his skills to work helping clients succeed during some of the greatest challenges of their personal lives. His experience running his own legal practice gives him an understanding of the entire process clients go through during divorce and other family law ordeals. He can empathize with the frustrations and difficulties while keeping a professional perspective that enables him to develop strategies best calculated to take advantage of the opportunities available in each client’s particular situation. He manages complex legal, financial, and emotional matters with tremendous dexterity.

An ardent advocate for his clients, Nussair works to protect children in divorce and ensure that the quiet voices of those who do not speak up for themselves receive the attention and consideration they deserve during the legal process.

Nussair earned his J.D. degree from the Elizabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. He then served his alma mater by returning to teach the arts of applying the Rules of Evidence, Trial Strategy, and the Art of Trial Advocacy to students as a coach for National Mock Trial Teams. Service as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Joan B. Lefkowitz, New York State Supreme Court Justice, helped give him a thorough understanding of judicial operations and the keys to effective advocacy.

Prior to law school, he received his B.S. in Political Science from Sacred Heart University and continued to earn his MAT degree in education and to study Public Administration at the University of Connecticut. He puts his love of teaching to use helping clients understand the legal issues and potential outcomes in their cases so that they can make informed decisions that are best for the future. Nussair is a member of the New York State Bar with experience practicing in a number of different New York courts.

A former Wide Receiver in NCAA football, Nussair still relishes the opportunity to engage in intense physical workouts as well as long outings with his beloved German Shepherd, Walter. He also enjoys cheering zealously for the Buffalo Bills and the New York Yankees.
