Celebrating 16 Years on the Super Lawyers® List

As a firm dedicated to representing High Net Worth Clients, it’s truly significant to mark my 16th consecutive year on the prestigious Super Lawyers® list. This recognition is a testament to the unwavering commitment and collective efforts of my dedicated team. At Nolletti Law Group, PLLC, our primary focus has always been on delivering impactful results, rather than seeking the spotlight. It’s incredibly gratifying to see our effective and diligent work gaining the well-deserved attention it merits.

-James Nolletti, Managing Partner

As a firm dedicated to the representation of High Net Worth Clients, it is particularly meaningful to receive the continued endorsement of the legal community for the complex legal and financial issues we manage. So, the team at Nolletti Law Group, PLLC is grateful to celebrate James Nolletti’s 16th consecutive year of selection for the prestigious Super Lawyers® list.

“I’m honored to receive this sign of respect from the legal community yet again,” he noted. “And since it reflects on the work of my whole team, we all appreciate the recognition you have given to what we do. We strive to get results rather than attention, so it is gratifying to see that our effective efforts gain attention in their own way.”

What is the Super Lawyers List?

Super Lawyers rates attorneys who have demonstrated a high level of professional achievement, ethical standards, and recognition among their peers in the legal field. Only the top 5% of attorneys are selected to be on the list each year.

The research team at Super Lawyers uses a multi-phase process to rate attorneys. They invested so much effort into creating an impartial selection process that they were awarded a patent on the process.

Nomination and Ratings

The process for choosing attorneys for the list involves three phases: nomination, independent research, and peer evaluation. An attorney must first receive a nomination from peers, managing partners, third parties, or the research team. Lawyers cannot nominate themselves. Although they may be nominated by other attorneys in their own firm, this type of nomination must be matched by at least one nomination from outside the firm. Each nomination carries a point value, with outside nominations having a greater value.

Attorneys who have been nominated then have their work reviewed by the research team. The team assigns points based on a variety of factors such as:

  • Results obtained for clients
  • Credentials that indicate a high degree of professional competence
  • Community service
  • Representative clients
  • Honors and awards
  • Position within the law firm
  • Activity within the bar
  • Scholarly writings and lectures
  • Educational background

Some factors are worth more than others in the point system.

Evaluation by Peers

The final and most important part of the selection process is the peer evaluation by practice area. Attorneys with the highest point totals  in each field of legal practice are invited to serve on the “blue ribbon review panel.” These panelists review the candidates from their practice area and apply their expertise to rate each nominee.

After candidates are rated by the peer review panel, they are grouped into categories based on the size of their legal practice. Then the top 5% of candidates are selected for the lists.

Excellence in Demanding Situations

As we move toward Thanksgiving, we are reminded of all the things we are thankful for. The people we work with are at the top of the list. Our clients and colleagues are what make the practice of law so rewarding. Your cooperation enables us to achieve the best results.

Of course, we are also grateful for the positive feedback from clients and colleagues manifested in the high ratings we receive in professional evaluations such as Super Lawyers. Your trust and confidence inspire us to continue to strive for excellence as we practice in the most demanding of situations.
