We are excited to announce that our team of distinguished family law professionals has expanded yet again to include Joseph Brettschneider, an experienced matrimonial attorney who has been highly rated for his skills for over three decades. One of his many official accolades includes the coveted AV Preeminent rating by Martindale/Hubbell, highest rating bestowed by the prestigious legal organization and one which signifies “preeminent legal ability” and “the highest ethical standards.” He’s also a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and is constantly ranked on the Super Lawyers lists. He joins Nolletti Law Group in an Of Counsel role.

Unique Understanding of Complex Divorce Issues
Joe has extensive trial experience in family law and divorce matters involving complex issues. Even when dealing with intensely complicated financial issues, however, he has a remarkable ability to explain matters in language clients understand so that they can make informed decisions.
Since our practice often assists clients with intricate business concerns, executive compensation packages, and combative alimony and custody issues, his extensive knowledge will serve our clients well. His client-centered approach to family law matters also fits with our culture of excellence and service.
Range of Family Law Experience
Prior to joining the team at Nolletti Law Group, Joe operated a boutique matrimonial law firm focused on achieving the best results for clients in issues involving equitable distribution of property, child custody, alimony and other contentious issues.
Although he has considerable experience in strategic litigation, Joe also knows how to guide clients through the mediation process and protect their interests during collaborative proceedings. He is certified in Mediation as well as being admitted to practice in the courts of New York.
A Welcome Addition to the Team
Known almost as much for his modesty as his knowledge, Joe is praised by colleagues for handling matters with respect and finesse. He originally studied literature in college, earning his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania and gaining experience in a variety of fields before enrolling in law school. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University and began practicing matrimonial law soon after graduation.
